June Page Kit Challenge – Dorothy

Welcome to Urban’s, ‘Page Kit Challenge!’

Each month, our Design Team Members get a kit to create an inspirational scrapbook layout.  Even though we all get the exact same kit, each design turns out totally unique!  It’s lot’s of fun to see what transpires.

Our, June Page Kit Challenge, includes foiled Designer papers from My Minds Eye called, ‘Mister’. You’ll also receive coordinating cardstock, twine, ribbon, metal photo-turns, a very generous die-cut collection from My Minds Eye and other embellishments to make your page stand out!

Dorothy’s pages are always such a treat and this month is no exception. Notice all those game-plays?  Dorothy got them on the net and used a Distress Marker by Tim Holtz called Picket Fence to write them on to the background.  Super creative Dorothy!

Check out this Designer paper from the kit!

Naturally Dorothy designed her page around her son’s football team,

‘The Bellerose Bulldogs’

Dorothy created multiple banners and flags from the Designer paper to surround the photo.  I think that suits a sports themed page so wonderfully and no die’s are required.

To add another layer of interest, without adding any bulk, Dorothy randomly stamped numbers onto the background with Tim Holtz Foam Stamps. You get such crisp images with them, I love that.  I immediately thought about the huddle, when the quarterback calls out numbers for the ‘secret’ play about to begin! Dorothy also die-cut the number 18 from a Tim Holtz Number Die Set.

Very original Dorothy!  A total touchdown!
