Today is our final layout for May’s Page Kit Challenge!
We’re featuring Design Team Member Dorothy.
Just WOW! Right ? !
We have all been drooling over Dorothy’s layout this month ! She’s fashioned an entire clipboard to feature her photo’s. The detail is just stunning, right down to the grey shadow around the bottom of the clipboard to have it feel like it’s coming off the page.
I just love how she die cut the design papers to make them look like they’re torn out of a coil note pad and stuck under the golden clip. Dorothy used Tim Holtz – On The Edge Die #658555
Check out this awesome foiled splatter! Dorothy swiped on Heidi Swapp’s Reactive Screen Ink through Tim Holtz Splatter stencil. Once dry, it was foiled with gold on her Minc Machine. Both are available at our On-line shop, just click on the link.
We’ve just brought in the new, Prima Vintage Metallique Wax. It comes in a number of shades. Dorothy used it on patterned paper in the kit to color pieces on the typewriter and clipboard. Can you believe the coverage? It’s perfect! This sweet typewriter is Cottage Cutz die #02820. I love the Tim Holtz foam stamps that Dorothy used to spell out ‘ride’. They look just like vintage print too!
We’ve been sharing ideas all month long for altering the Bella Blvd Acrylic Word, included in the kit. Dorothy’s inked hers with Pitch Black Archival Ink and added extra dimension with white Enamel Accents by Ranger. You can shop Urban Scrapbook for these items, we’re always happy to show you around.
