The Korner has landed…………..
and I’m so excited to be back from my adventures. Traveling is like collecting little gems for Journals and Scrapbooks. Some of these sites are sure to show up on Urban Girl projects along the way.
Just before I toodled off to Washington and New York, the lovely Judy Sware shared one of her fab cards with me. There’s butterflies dancing around spring blooms, delivering a birthday wish!
Super cute Judy! I was really smitten with the way it folded and the opportunity to build layers of fun. Isn’t it fab when friends inspire you to try something new?
I decided to make a wedding card
I’ve used the ‘In Bloom’ Collection by My Minds Eye for the card and adorned it with organza flowers by Prima.
The vintage bride and groom are 1 of the 107 paper dolls from the new Tim Holtz Idea-ology die cuts package. I wanted them to be the focus of my card so I surrounded them with some beautiful floral bouquets from the ‘In Bloom’ sticker sheet.
The golden bells are actually a Christmas die by Spellbinders. You needn’t stuff them in a drawer until next Christmas.
This pretty tag from the sticker sheet will capture happy wishes for the Bride and Groom. A simple hole and golden rope helps it dangle in the perfect position to balance the card decor.
Special thanks to Laura Lipe for her tutorial. If you’d like to make a cascade card of your own, please visit Laura here. Generous thanks to Judy Sware for inspiring us!
Cheers, Kelly from the Korner
