January Monthly Challenge – Laurie

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Today we have Laurie’s January layout on the blog:

Laurie’s die-cut background was created with paper die-cut from the Tim Holtz layered snowflake die. Instead of using the snowflakes, she used the negative pieces surrounding them. What a creative idea! Her embossed background and mittens are highlighted with paint, ink and lightly sanded for a distressed look. We love the pop of red with Echo Park’s Winter collection. Fantastic layout, Laurie!

As a lot of you know, the CHA (Craft and Hobby Assoc.) trade show for retailers has started today in Phoenix. Lynette and Krista are there, ordering all the latest and greatest for the store. We can’t wait to see what is going to arrive soon, but in the meantime…….

This beautiful collection called, “Vintage Artistry” is soft colours of green, pale peach, and beiges. These patterned papers are perfect for adding mixed media, with the quality and thickness. They have a wonderful cut out sheet too!

We have received this week, a brand new company called “49 and Market”.

This company also makes stamps, some designed by one of your favourite designers, Gabrielle Pollacco.

Also arriving next week, are their flowers!
