Hello there! The design team all enjoyed working with this month’s collection, “I Love Family”, from Echo Park. What’s not to love with this colour palette, the woodgrain, hexagon patterns and all the fun elements. We love what Sandy has created with her kit!
After colouring her Tim Holtz doily die-cut, Sandy used it as a mat for her chipboard element. Another washi tape idea…accenting the matted photo with just a few pieces around the edges. There are three Scrabble pieces in each kit, and instead of just using them to spell a word, use them as you would any embellishment, even alter them. Sandy has covered them with paper and on the sides, adhered sookwang tape, then applied glitter. Great way to use up those letter tiles that we all have left over and can’t spell any words! Love the banner she has created across the bottom of her page, using chipboard letters, twine and buttons. Fantastic layout, Sandy!
In case you missed this new class……..
