Today we have some card inspiration for all of you cardmakers out there!  As most of you know, we have a huge selection of dies and it can be a bit overwhelming, looking at all the choices.  Here’s a few samples of our cards on display, to show you how dies can create extra special cards.
First up, because Easter is almost here, is a card using the Memory Box Happy Easter (99342) die.  The die was cut out in green foil cardstock.  The backing for the die-cut was hand cut(shape traced from the die) from pink shimmer cardstock, then using a Ranger Mini Foam Blender Tool, just dabbed lightly with Prima’s Acrylic Paint in Opal Magic Rose colour.  The paper is Webster’s new collection “Painted Passports.” The yellow flower and butterfly are from Petaloo.
This card is made with the Poppy Stamps 1325 leafy frame die and Blue Fern’s new collection, “Serendipity”.  Their papers have beautiful images that are smaller and perfect for cards.  The ‘best wishes’ is from Sizzix’s Tim Holtz Celebrations Script die 660223 and the flowers are from Petaloo.

Fairies always are popular, and this Tattered Lace Fairy Tinks TTL-324 die and the Tattered Lace  Panorama Grass Large TTL-D663 die make a great card. Tim Holtz Sizzix Handwritten Celebrate 660215 die was used for birthday wishes.  Papers (Blush collection) by Blue Fern are used for this card.

Memory Box die 99387 Colette Butterfly Branch has been used on this card.  The flowers are made with Sizzix’s Tim Holtz Pinecone (657492), Tattered Florals (656640) and Tiny Tattered Florals (660227) and Happy Birthday is Sizzix Celebrations Script 660223 die.  Once again, the Blue Fern Blush paper collection was used.

This masculine card was made with Poppy Stamps Forest Village pop1250 die.  It was backed with Tim Holtz TH93294 Adhesive Backed Textile Surfaces (the linen one).  The papers used on this card are from Photo Play’s “This Guy” collection.

This last card is perfect for an anniversary and Poppy Stamps Heart Stack POP1140 is fun to piece with different colours.  The papers used for the heart are our popular Anodized cardstock, a velvet smooth, slightly metallic paper.  The dot paper is from Crate Paper’s Hello Love collection.  The cherish die cut is from Sizzix’s Tim Holtz Handwritten Love(660218). The white pinpoint square is Memory Box Open Studio 8 pc. set (30060).

Hope our cards have inspired you and given you some ideas for your own card making.

Have a great day!
