MARCH MONTHLY CHALLENGE – ELAINE

Good morning everyone!  Today we have Elaine’s layout on the blog:

Elaine has given her sticker die-cuts a boost by accenting them with Stickles glitter glue.  She’s also used the Stickles to trace around her bunnies on her patterned paper, giving them some sparkle.  Who doesn’t love doilies!  These beautiful doilies are die-cut  with new doily dies from Tim Holtz (Doily #1 – 661497 and Doily #2 –  661498).  Just by pop dotting her smaller photo, sticker shapes and the word stickers, Elaine has brought more dimension to her layout.  Beautiful layout and photos too, Elaine!

We’ve been busy receiving new stock at the store, it’s been non-stop!  For the mixed media lovers, we have new to the store, Fantasy paints by Pebeo.  These reactive paints reveal stunning marble or honeycomb textures after application.

Ranger has some great new products this year. We are restocked in Tim Holtz water reactive Distress Crayons.

For those of you who are experimenting with Alcohol Inks, whether you are using them on Ranger’s newYupo paper or on tiles, we are restocked in all colours.
Ranger has introduced Mica Sprays, a set of three different colours from each signature designer (Tim Holtz, Dina Wakley, Dyan Reaveley and Wendi Vecchi).
For applying these new Tim Holtz different mediums, or any other mediums you use, we have these new  brushes.

There’s also 6 new colours in Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic paints, and Dylusions Paints to add to your collections.

We can’t forget about Finnabair’s new Acrylic Paints from Prima.

These water-based metallic acrylic paints also come in an assortment of Opal Magic two-toned paint colours.

Just one more share for today, and that’s our favourite watercolors, Gansai Tambi by Kuretake.

“Gansai Tambi watercolors have a glossy sheen finish and are perfect for crafters and artistic professionals. The high-density pigment of each color allows Gansai Tambi to be applied even to dark paper. Because the high density pigment, the colors – especially metallic – can be applied even to dark paper. To achieve a more traditional transparent effect, dilute the paints with water and blend until the desired consistency and opacity is reached.”  We currently have the 24 set and 36 set in stock, but they don’t seem to last!

That’s all for today, hope you come and visit soon!

  1. Hi Elaine, I love how you used the Easter Bunny paper across the top to line up all the colourful bunny's and the die cut edging too. Ukrainian Easter Baskets and the Paska bring back many nice memories with my dad at our annual visit to the farm church where my Grandparents rest. Beautiful photo's, thanks for the inspiration. xk
