Love Dorothy’s snowflakes she created on her background paper. Using a Tim Holtz Snowflake stencil and embossing paste, she created these snowflakes directly onto her paper. While the paste was still wet, just throw on some Tim Holtz Rock Candy Glitter, tap off the excess and set aside to dry. We here at Urban seem to use this glitter on just about everything when creating our Christmas projects, for that frosty glittery look. Do you hate to throw away your embellishment packaging sometimes? Sometimes the artwork printed on them is too good to discard! Dorothy used the gold cardboard backing on one of her embellishment packages to mat her photo. These could also be die cut into shapes for journaling or just embellishments. The “believe” is die cut from a Heidi Swapp die 312344 and the “noel” a Tim Holtz Script Thinlits (660058) die. Her garland was created just by threading the ribbon through the tag holes and for added dimension, a few of the die cuts underneath.
Fantastic layout, Dorothy!
Looking back to a post from December 2014, here’s a few of Dorothy’s Christmas projects for more inspiration!
Have a great day,
