SEPTEMBER MONTHLY CHALLENGE – LAURIE

Good morning everyone!  Well, today is the day when everyone’s routine goes back to normal or somewhat normal; school has started for another year.  For some of you, that might mean a little free time for grabbing a coffee and sitting down to scrapbook.  Or just grabbing a coffee and looking at some scrapbook inspiration.  Do we have coffee on our minds a lot  here at Urban?  Judging by all the layouts this month, I think we all might enjoy a cup or two.  Laurie has a wonderful layout here and guess what? It’s about coffee!

The first thing you notice about her layout, is the great die-cut title, coffee.  Laurie has created this custom title with her Silhouette electronic cutting machine.  Love her cluster of hand cut leaves, buttons and sequins too.  The large circle cut out from her patterned papers really brings your eye to her photo and connects all the surrounding elements.
Love this layout!

Laurie had some leftover supplies from her kit, so she created some awesome cards too:

Also, at Urban:

We have a few spots left for this Graphic 45 Double Layout class from Katie.

Katie continues to amaze us all with these double layouts that are both dimensional and interactive! Check them out! Not only will you be fussy cutting your paper – you will be using the Fuse Tool to cut your page protector to make the layout interactive! How awesome is that??
These layouts are beautiful…and there are only a few spots left!

  1. Sorry for the late comment Laurie, I thought I might see you at the store but we always miss each other. I'm always blown away by your projects. You incorporate your Cameo items so seamlessly and yet fussy cut all those leaves too. I can totally see all the effort and time spent on your page and admire that so much since you work two jobs. This is a really cute photo of you! I like too how you added colour to the leaf veins to complement other elements we got. That was a great idea. Your cards are just over the top awesome, you always go the extra mile with the kits, thanks for sharing your time and talent. xK
