KELLY’S KORNER – INSPIRED BY GARDENING

Hello Urban Gardeners…..scrapbookers…….scrapdeners, ha!  Ever wonder what an Urban Girl might do in her free time?  Correct! More artful projects and perhaps a little gardening to boot.

Handmade garden

Handmade gift bag

I definitely think my craft projects are inspired by the beautiful colours in the garden lately. This little gift bag was made for someone special, using handmade paper via my Gelli Plate and the We-R Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punchboard.  You can find both at Urban Scrapbooking.  Making one-of-a-kind gift bags and tags is a fun way to share your creativity with friends and family

Why purchase a $3 bow and $6 bag from a shopping centre, when you can make your own? I bet if you peek around your craft table, you’ll be inspired too.

Hey! Have you seen me at the store cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing, counting and recounting?  Sounds like I’m busy making a giant salad doesn’t it?  Not quite, but close.  I’ve been working on a GIANT kit that will be in the store soon.   Just for stopping by Kelly’s Korner today, you’re getting a sneak peak at:

 The Urban Garden Journal
 (Too Many Pieces To Count) Kit*
* not the official name
We’re including paper, cardstock, labels, brads, stickers, ribbon, string, embossing, numbers and so much more. Like most garden projects, putting it all together for you has been a labour of love.

Looks fun right?  Well, thanks so much for popping in and remember, “love is a sweet fruit that’s in season all year round”.

What’s popping up on your craft table?

  2. You are so darn clever, and wonderfully creative, too! When I ride my bike up to your part of the world, can we get a little bit crafty? Keep it simple, okay 🙂
